Stuffum Naturals

In case you were not aware, my parents own a cookie bakery!! However, the cookies they bake are not low carb, low fat, or high protein...they are fabulously delicious though!!

Anywho...I came across a company called Stuffum Naturals and was very intrigued! They have treats that are healthier and "fitter" than most options out there. I just had to try some!
Cookies, donuts, brownies, and cookie dough made with grass fed whey protein isolate, almond meal, organic coconut oil, flaxseed, dark chocolate, pink Himalayan  sea salt, and other quality ingredients.

Chocolate Chip Cookie was up first!
This cookie tasted fantastic! It was super soft which is the type of cookies I love! It was also much heartier than your average cookie.  I felt very satisfied after this "no guilt" treat! There was the perfect amount of dark chocolate chunks and I think I detected a little cinnamon.

The only thing I was not a huge fan of was the packaging...It was wrapped in cellophane and then placed in a tupperware-like container.
It tasted very fresh, but I would have liked to see it in a sealed bag.  I also would have liked to see a label on the bag with the ingredients and nutrition facts.  They do have some of that information on their website, but not everything is listed.

I was very excited when I saw the Pumpkin Donut!!
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am addicted to everything pumpkin! I love baking with it and I especially love eating it!!

Again, I would have liked to see different packaging and labeling.  Taste is the most important thing though!!
This was the softest donut I have ever eaten! I really love super soft baked goods so I was very pleased with the texture.  It had a nice pumpkin/cinnamon taste and there were white chocolate chips all throughout.  This donut didn't even need any frosting, filing, or sprinkles.  It was a great post workout treat!

I also received three flavors of No Bake Cookie Dough.
I am told you can eat these as is and use them as toppings for pancakes, waffles, muffins, or other goodies.  I did find the nutritional facts online, but would have liked to see them right on the container.

I am always a fan of anything Cake Batter flavored!!
It smelled fabulous! Since these contain organic coconut oil, it is somewhat of a solid.  I decided to try microwaving it for a few seconds so I could use it as a spread.

If you like super sweet stuff than you will love this!!
I happen to be a big fan of sweets so I was quite happy.
It was pretty easy to spread after I warmed it up.  I loved how the white chocolate chips got a little melty.  I think this is a great alternative to boring butter or cream cheese.  It would be fantastic on a bagel!

Hmm...what to do with the Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough...
I warmed it up again and tried this one as a dip.

The texture was a little grainy...I think probably from the flaxseed meal.  The flavor was great though! White chocolate AND dark chocolate!
I bet it would be even better with some graham crackers or pretzels sticks!

Last but not least was Cookies n Creme.
I wanted to try this flavor as is, in true raw cookie dough form.

I rolled it into three little cookie dough bites.
Since these are made with whey protein, I had all three bites before my workout.

I usually just have a protein bar, but cookie dough sounds more fun!
Slightly grainy texture from the flaxseed and a little greasy feeling from the coconut oil. Once again, the taste was fantabulous! I love the sweetness and white chocolate chips! They are actually quite hearty and filling too.  I think they are perfect as a post workout or pre workout snack.  They are also a great way to satisfy that sweet tooth without the guilt!

If you want something sweet and healthy, then I suggest you give Stuffum Naturals a try!! You can get super creative with their cookie dough or try some of their other baked goods! Check out their website for ordering information!

Cheesecake Pumpkin Dip

Pumpkin sure does take over in the Fall!! Pumpkin cookies, pancakes, coffee, candy, and more! One of my favorite pumpkin flavored things lately is my Cheesecake Pumpkin Dip!
So easy! So delicious! And it's even pretty good for you!

Like I said...easy peasy...
MTS Caramel Sutra whey, cheesecake sugar free fat free pudding mix, canned pumpkin, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and cinnamon.
*Feel free to use different protein and pudding flavors*

I do love the caramel and pumpkin combo!
If you want to try MTS Caramel Sutra you can order it here.
Use code KH30 to save 30% on your order!

This could not be less complicated!
Just add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix! I use a whisk to make sure it's super smooth!

Refrigerate it for about 20 minutes to let it thicken up and then dig in!
I love it with pretzels! They are probably my favorite dippers!

Pumpkin dip and apples are such a great snack!!
Since there is 25 grams of protein in there, it's a great before or  after a workout! Try spreading it on bagel or toast instead of cream cheese!

Perfect for a party or get together! You could get super creative and put the dip in a hollowed out pumpkin!
I am sure all your family and friends will want the recipe! Share it with them!!

No Bake Cookies

I always loved making No Bake Cookies as a kid! We were actually allowed to make them on our own because we didn't need an oven! Of course we didn't actually measure everything correctly, but the end product was usually at least edible!

As soon as MTS Nutrition came out with No Bake Cookie flavored whey, I knew exactly what I wanted to make!
Yum!!

Ingredients are slightly different from what you use for your normal no bake cookies.
MTS No Bake Cookie Whey, quick oats, peanut butter, sugar free syrup, unsweetened applesauce, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, vanilla, and sweetener of choice.

You can experiment with other flavors and brands of whey.
You can order MTS No Bake Cookie here.
Use code KH30 to save 30%

Any kind of peanut butter or nut butter will work. I went with good old Smooth Operator.
Feel free to play around with some fun flavors! You could even try PB2 for a lower fat option.

Melt the peanut butter, applesauce, milk, syrup, and vanilla on the stove top.
Cook on low for just a few minutes until everything is blended.

Stir in your protein powder and sweetener of choice.
Depending on the type of peanut butter and protein, you may not even want the additional sweetness. I added one Splenda packet.

Remove from heat and mix in the oats.  If needed, add a little additional liquid so you can completely coat the oats.
It should be thick and sticky! Feel free to add in some cinnamon, cocoa powder, or any other fun seasonings.

Drop the batter onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. I got one dozen cookies from this batch.
Press them down a bit and stick them in the fridge for about an hour.

There you have some scrumptious, protein packed cookies!!
These are great for breakfast!! Like eating a bowl of hearty oatmeal, but in cookie form!

Store any leftovers in the fridge.  They will keep for about a week.  Honestly though...they will be in your belly before then!
You can keep these cookies simple...

Or get a little more creative!!
I added some raisins to the batter and a few chips in the middle! Mini chips, white chocolate, and butterscotch! Like little bird's nests!

What flavors will you come up with?!
The possibilities are endless! And all delicious!

Confetti Mini Muffins

Something about sprinkles...they make any baked good look unbelievable tasty! Maybe it's the fun colors? Or something about childhood birthday parties? Regardless, they are very important ingredient in theses Confetti Mini Muffins!
These may look like they are full of butter, sugar, and flour...but they actually contain none of those ingredients!! (ok...a little sugar in the sprinkles...but we all know that calories in sprinkles don't count...)

The ingredients might surprise you...
ABOUTTIME Birthday Cake Whey, white canned beans, unsweetened applesauce, egg substitute, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, vanilla, baking powder, sweetener of choice, and of course sprinkles!!
*You can use chickpeas, garbanzo, navy, great northern, or butter beans*
*any milk will do*
*real egg works too*

Drain and rinse your beans first.  Then puree the beans, egg, applesauce, milk, and vanilla. Depending on the type of bean, you may want to add a little extra liquid to blend smooth.
Stir in remaining ingredients.  Everything except the sprinkles that is!

I used a mini muffin pan, but you can absolutely make regular sized ones! Spray your pan very well with non stick spray or use muffin liners.
You can fill the cups pretty full because these won't rise much.

Don't forget the sprinkles!!!
Seriously! The sprinkles are not optional!!

How cute are those!?
I absolutely love baking with beans.  They give the muffins such a great texture and replace the flour used in most recipes. I promise they do not taste like beans!

These little guys are packed with 32 grams of protein!
Such a great breakfast! Since they are bite sized, they are great for on-the-go!

Each little muffin is only about 18 calories!!
Quick math... All 12 for only 215 calories!

Ya know those little pre-packaged mini muffins you buy at the grocery store...
You only get 4-5 muffins and it'll cost you 250 calories, 14 grams of fat, 17 grams of sugar, and only 3 grams of protein...no thank you!!

These beauties will actually keep you full and satisfied!
Only 2 grams of sugar from the applesauce, no flour, and gluten free (double check your protein).

They also freeze great so feel free to make a quadruple batch!!
Money shot!!
